As a writer, I often ruminate about horses. I have been riding since five. My obsession with horses started when I was a toddler. I would flap my hands and squeal when I saw a horse, to some extent I still do. I live in Tucson, Arizona and compete as a Jumper. Essie, my young Zangersheide mare, is the peanut-butter to my jelly. Ridding has its ups and downs and its inbetweens, its thought provoking and offers much to mull over.
